Antonella Giannasca
I was born and raised in Rome, Italy. I used to spend every summer in Tuscany where part of my family comes from. Growing up, I used to enjoy watching my grandma and my mum cooking delicious dishes in the tradition of that region.
. I have traveled extensively in Europe (especially England, France and Spain) to improve the languages that I have studied. I experienced the joy of being a tour guide for American groups in Italy and Europe as well as being an English teacher for Italian children.
Since I moved to the States in 1998, I have mainly been a mother and a wife but I also have enjoyed sharing the love for my country and for my beautiful language with the students I have met over the last 6 years.
It is an incredible experience to see how they have grown in their knowledge of the Italian language and culture with the same passion and devotion that I put into all my classes. It is this same passion and devotion that I have put into sharing the experience with Giuseppina during her last stay in Atlanta. I sincerely hope you will enjoy the cooking classes and the food that Giuseppina will be able to cook at your home.
